Suscetta’s work vividly explores identity and the recontextualization of the human form, drawing inspiration from ancestral myths, fables, and religious symbolism. Growing up in Southern Italy, his fascination with sacred art and the vibrant hues of the Mediterranean shaped his unique style. His art blends bold simplicity with complex themes, merging classical forms with contemporary elements. Through iconic portraits, landscapes, and figures, Suscetta creates works that blur time and defy classical norms, offering a playful tension between the obscure and joyful. His drawing process embraces imperfection, celebrating the beauty of the natural world and its connection to the universal.
